"Mountain biking connects us to nature and the most beautiful parts of being alive - where we aren't thinking about the societal pressures of beauty and success. We feel beauty being sweaty, dirty, stinky, happy. exhilarated, and challenged. and when it's shared with friends all the beauty is multiplied."

"I love riding bikes as a way to laugh with my friends, get out in nature. and not take things too seriously. Coaching the minions is a cool way to do all of these things while also stopping every 10 min for snacks."

"I grew up riding mountain bikes in the 1990s and have been lucky enough to watch the evolution of the sport/lifestyle Being able to share this with the younger generation is something I m so thankful for. Its a beautiful community and I love it!"

"When you ride your bike, things get better 💯. For me, mountain biking and two wheels provides a therapeutic escape to the everyday life. The focus required to ride a bike combined with the connection to the outdoors, clears the mind and reduces stress. Add the smiles and laughter of your friends … the look on the faces of the Minions… it doesn’t get much better than that!"

"It's the shared moments of fun, resilience and discovery that make mountain biking so special. I love seeing the kids light up with the joy of riding trails, connecting with nature and surprising themselves with what they can do. I always leave with more than I came with."

"Mountain biking embodies so many things. It's physical. It's Mental. It's adventure. It's just plain fun. Committing to the belief that you can overcome an obstacle on your bike, even if you don't really know you can until you try, translates to every aspect of productive living. Sharing that understanding with a horde of shrieking Dirt

"I like that the kids are enthusiastic about trying and learning new things. It's also cool to help with the future of our sport. As a young Dirt Minion, I made friends and learned new things, as a coach I'm glad to bring that experience to the younger Dirt Minions. My experience with The Dirt Minions has now taken me into MTB racing and I Love it!"

"Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, the trails have always been one of my favorite places to be. What started as tagging along behind the older riders quickly turned into something special - our own “mini minions,” a crew where we celebrate the scrapes, the wins, and the courage it takes to try again.
My goal isn’t just to coach stronger

My goal isn’t just to coach stronger riders, but to help build resilient, confident kids - ones who aren’t afraid to challenge themselves, support their teammates, and get back up every time they fall. Riding alongside these kids and getting to know each of them has been incredibly rewarding."

"Mountain biking connects me to my roots. I grew up riding in the mountains, and now sharing that love with my kids is everything. It’s the kind of joy you only find outside together."
